There is a saying with plumbers... "They always have the WORST plumbing in their houses". Why is this? It's because the plumber is fixing others plumbing day in and day out. When they finally arrive home, hopefully to a loving wife (or perhaps husband), they really do not want to take the time to work on their own plumbing.
Well, as it turns out my colo died the night before last. The hard drive finally gave out after 10 years of use. No complaints, I just wish I had backed things up before it send south. Live and learn.
Otherwise, nothing much is new here. Same same, same same same.. :)

As many are aware, I live a busy live. I have for several years now and I really don't know anything else at this point. I'm fine with that though.
However, sometimes, it's really nice to be able to take a break. Even the busiest of people need to step away from it all sometimes.

The end of an era slipped by yesturday morning. The Tekon Truck Stop, in my 'hometown' of Tekonsha, MI closed its doors. This personally took me by surprise. I knew they weren't getting the business they necessarily once had, but I honestly didn't think they were in that much trouble.

Okay, so I don't need a facelift, but the site does. I'm kinda tired of the geeky-ness of it. I'm gonna move (and remove) some stuff around and see what I can do.
In the mean time, college is kicking my ass, but I only have to grin and bear it for another 10 weeks or so. I so. cannot. wait.
So, I'm 6 hours away from starting my (hopefully) last semester of college for my associates degree.
The end of this semester will mark a full 7 semesters - 2 and 1/2 years time - that the college that I'm attending (Kellogg Community College, if you must know) - has been a pain in my ass.
Here's why...
Okay, I'm not much to rip on my family, but seriously... I can't pass this up.
The house-finance committee decided to add some additional exterior lighting. (As if we don't have enough already!). Being the person of common sense I am, I figured it'd be a single light and would match the rest of the house.
Well...not so fast...
So the past few weeks have taken me by surprise. I'm finally in college, with an adjusted work schedule to boot. I'll get used to it as time goes on.
I don't have much to add, except I'm still here and still doing my thing, whatever the hell that is.
