Models are looking nice here at home. I finally don't have to go anywhere for some weather. :)
It looks like I'm smack dab where I need to be, and the best part is I'm at home.
We'll see how the day pans out, but should be exciting!

Well, I finally made it out of bed. Ben Holcomb and I are spending a little time going over the latest model runs. Overall, I'm still pretty confident in the entire setup. I'm extremely glad we came.
The current Day 1 outlook (1300Z) shows a huge moderate risk extending from Central Illinois south west through Missouri and all the way into Central and NE Oklahoma. I'm impressed by the sheer size of it.
Chase Time! - Initial Post

Well, as I'm typing this, I'm in the back seat of a van that Ben Holcomb is driving. The van belongs to LB LaForce's dad and we're travellling down I-55 between Joliet and Bloomington Illinois.
The plan is to grab a Super 8 or Motel 6 in Bloomington and stay the night prepping for tomorrow's action. I need to charge my camera and dump the data on it to my server at work... for safe keeping... and more space = more chase pics!

I was waiting for my shirt I ordered to arrive today. I thought it a good idea to look at the status on the FedEX Website. Apperently FedEx needs some education in telling time, and how time zones work.
